You have your choice of Chinese language schools ("Chinese language school" might be a bit strong in some cases. Many are reputable schools where Chinese is taught). Here are some in China:
- EducAsian (EducAsian.com) - Mandarin classes in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. In addition to language, there are classes in Chinese Culture and History, Business in China, Chinese Medicine, and Chinese Film.
- International Sudents' Center (ISCBeijing.com) - Classes in Beijing at all levels. They also have a Summer Camp (5 weeks, $1300) and Business Chinese program.
- AmeriSpan (AmeriSpan.com) - Mandarin classes in Beijing student residence. Contonese classes in Taipei.
- Lotus Educational Foundation (Lotusstudy.com) - Home Stay opportunities. Imagine living with a Chinese family while you learn Chinese! Classes are in the Beijing Language and Culture University. A 5-wwek course (one of several options) is $2,580, including Home Stay.
- PRCStudy.com - in Beijing. Four weeks to one full year. Classes are in the PRC Study Academy, Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), Peking University, Tsinghua University, and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing.
- WorldLink Education (Study-in-China.com) - 4-12 week programs.
