French language camps are a fun way to learn French. Owing to a quirk of history, we are thinking of French camps in California. You see, there's a place called French Camp, California. It's in the San Joaquin Valley, near Stockton, and was named "French Camp" for the French fur trappers who wintered there in Spanish Colonial times. It has nothing to do with learning French, but it does lead the mind to wonder what California can offer the student of French. Oddly, there's not much (you'd think that the state with French Camp could do better.) The Savoir Faire Language Institute (Savoirfaire-california.com) is a language school located in the South Bay beach area of Los Angeles which specializes in teaching Spanish, French, Italian and English as a Second Language as well as German, Arabic, and Hebrew. There are French classes for children from 8 months (really!) through high schools. Their French Summer Camps include begin at age 6 and run Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm . A similar camp is available for older children. There's even a Form-Your-Own Foreign Language Camp, so you and several of your friends can form a camp that fits your schedules and interests. Their Signature Savoir Faire Immersion Week for adults is for advanced students who want lots of vocabulary in a hurry. Web Design - Small business custom website from EverestWebDesign.com.
