The best new features are voice recognition and voice comparison. Without the aid of a live instructor, the software can tell you if you are speaking Spanish correctly by comparing your speech to a model. Another advancement that has actually been in the works for many years but only recently has gotten quite good is interactive learning. The software for learning Spanish contains video scenes that adapt to your responses, allowing for a variety of situations. Some programs even lead you into different situations depending on your level of performance, always prompting you to use higher forms of Spanish grammar and an expanded vocabulary.
